Teambuilding in the vineyards – May 2019
Getting to know oneself better to work better together
I am passionate about my work and delighted for having the opportunity to assist teams to work better together.
It starts with building up confidence together and allowing everyone to feel at ease in a pleasant and effective environment.
This week we worked outside, in picturesque and captivating vineyards and surroundings, discovering the DISC model of TTI Success Insights to learn about oneself, about relationships and practicing new ways of communicating.
We have also analyzed the team’s wheel to see strengths and areas for improvement and have decided on a team action plan.
Each participant has been given a personal DISC profile report, and decided its own individual action plan to launch for his/her development and a “development partner”, a binomial with whom to share and feel supported on this path. A means of reinforcing relationships within the team.
It has been a joy to work with people so open, friendly and with good energy.
Some feedback from the participants:
- It has given us a new impetus, more desire to work together and find how to improve as a team.
- It has allowed us to talk about our common challenges and we have decided, as a result of the training, to work in a more collaborative way, more by project.
- We have learned to make requests and started to be more direct and share how each one could feel in complicated situations and how each one needs to receive information and requests in order to be effective and thus functioning better as a team.
